Patricia Ruth Hazelwood

To have lived the kind of life that pleases the one whose life hes given is the one where no ones left behind and never ever forgotten. Teresa L. MetzPatricia Ruth (Johnson Barfell) Hazelwood, 70, of Oshkosh, died on Friday, May 22, 2009 at Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born on April 3, 1939 the daughter of Henry and Dorothy Stoddart Johnson. She was married to Ralph Barfell in November 1956 and then married Carlisle Hazelwood on August 24, 1994 in Conover. Carlisle preceded her in death.Pat was a member and president of V. F. W. Ladies Auxiliary Post 1908, a member and Chaplin of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 70, member of the Red Hat Ladies Society and very active in helping others to maintain their sobriety through the Alcoholics Anonymous as a member, sponsor and volunteer. She attended Constance Beauty School and became a beautician she then worked in the health care field threw home health care and at Oshkosh Care Center and also worked at the Menominee Park Zoo.Survivors include her daughters, Toni Kaye (Glenn) Rosko, Teri Lyn (Fiance Mark Hinz) Barfell-Zutz-Metz; son, Ralph A. Barfell III; grandchildren, Tige Adler, Mary Heil, Jenny Heil Gracyalny (Travis ), Joshua and Nikhela Rosko, Amber, Rachel, Thomas, and Seth Barfell, Tamara , Paul and Nathaniel Zutz; great grandchildren, Darrian, Tige Jr., and Trent Adler, Elizabeth and Aubrey Gracyalny, Hazel Heil; siblings, Richard (Barbara) Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson, Lynn Wegner, Doreen (Fiance Dale Bonfigt) Schwobe, and Janice (James) Ponzer; special friends, Michael Owens and Lola Gonia; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carlisle; daughter, Tami Ann Barfell; sister, Kathleen Frey-Graykowski; and a brother, Bobby Johnson.The funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Eastside). Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 PM to the time of service. An American Auxiliary Service will be at 2:45 PM. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Pats family sends a special thank you to Dr. Zahid Dar, Oncoligist and his nurses at the Aurora Cancer Center, her health care provider Jamie Bonell APNP, and the entire staff at Evergreen Retirement Community for their genuine love and for caring for our mother Pat.
