Paul Oscar Hammerberg

Paul O. Hammerberg, 82, of Oshkosh died Tuesday February 5, 2008 at Park View Health Center. He was born October 5, 1925 in Chicago a son of the late Carl and Emma (Johanson) Hammerberg. Paul was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and life member of the King Oscar Lodge #855, Chicago. His survivors include two daughters Kris (Dr. Erik) Emaus of Winneconne and Linnea (Mark) DeLoach of Washington, MO; a son Erik (Dana) Hammerberg of Ellisville, MO; eight grandchildren Jacob Hammerberg, Jia Emaus, Yuri Emaus, Victor Emaus, Peyton Gutierrez, Tyler Jacquin, Kole Hammerberg, and Abby Hammerberg; and two brothers Edgar Hammerberg of Chicago and Chester (Ruth) Hammerberg of Tampa, FL. Paul is further survived by several nieces, nephews, and his former wife Norma. He was preceded in death by a brother Clifford; infant brothers Carter and Robert; sisters-in-law Miriam and Stella. Funeral services for Paul will be held Friday February 8, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, Rev. Jeff Knoll officiating. Family and friends may call at the Lake Pointe Dr. funeral home on Friday from 11 AM until the service. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, with military rights being conducted.We would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Park View Health Center, Rehab Pavillion – 2E for the loving care given to Paul. A memorial will be established to the Alzheimers Association.
