Paul Reinhold Zuehlke

Paul Reinhold Zuehlke, 89, passed away April 18, 2014 at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. He was born in Weyauwega on June 19, 1924, the son of Paul F. and Elsie Zuehlke. He married Betty Jane Botz on May 27, 1950 in Iowa. After her death, he married Marion L. Traugott on October 14, 1995. Paul served in the United States Army, serving in World War II from April 1943 until being honorably discharged in December 1945. He worked as a lineman at the telephone company for many years and was a church usher at Peace Lutheran Church.Paul is survived by his daughter, Karen E. (Mike) Kierszh, two step sons, David (Deb) Traugott, Donald Traugott, one sister Marian J. Kiesow, King, WI, two grandsons Jeffrey and Bryan Kierszh, and three great grandchildren, Ben, Amber and Mia Kierszh.Paul was preceded in death by his parents, both his wives, one grandson, Charles Paul Kierszh, and one brother Leland W. Zuehlke.A funeral service with full military honors will be held on April 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Home Chapel with Pastor Bob Archer officiating. A visitation will be held at Bethel Home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.The family gives special thanks to the Sojourner volunteers of Bethel and the staff and friends of Carmel, especially Pastor Bob.In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
