Paula Benzel

Paula M. Benzel, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2018. She was born to the late George and Mary (Heus) Burnett on August 24, 1974 in Fond Du Lac, WI. Paula graduated from Horace Mann High School in NFDL and MPTC as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She enjoyed workin for 10 years at Brookdale Senior Living. Paula had a calling for nursing and loved taking care of others. Her kindness, compassion and generous heart brightened and saved many lives throughout her career as a nurse. Paula loved nature and all sorts of animals especially dogs. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and swimming, playing cards, and cooking. Paula was the heart of her family, and loved them all dearly. She was a very kind, sweet, and loving mother, daughter, and fiancé and will be greatly missed by them all.
Paula is survived by her daughter, Allison Benzel; mother, Mary Burnett; fiancé, Robert Sonnenberg; and special friend, Jason Benzel.
A privategathering celebrating Paula’s life will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to daughter Allison.
