Peter M. Kosmer

Peter M. Kosmer, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Aurora Medical Center. He was born to the late Sylvester and Florene (Deustsch) Kosmer on June 12, 1941 in Oshkosh. After graduating from high school, Peter married the love of his life, Susie Paulsen, on September 24, 1960. He spent his career at Rockwell working as a Payroll Clerk and assisting with IT. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, camping, and going up north to Presque Isle with his family. Peter and Susie were members of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish. Peter was a long member of the Elks Club.
Peter is survived by his wife, Susie; daughters, Connie (Perry) Kitzinger, and Sheila (Rick) Koeller; son-in-law, Bob Gloede; six grandchildren, Jessica Saunders, Christopher (Maggie) Kresal, Matthew (Zachary Stumpf), Nicholas (Kelly), and Kathryn Gloede, and Brittany Kitzinger; eleven great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings, Barbara (John) McClone, John Kosmer and Steven (Deb) Kosmer.
In addition to his parents, Peter was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Gloede.
A service for Peter will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes West (100 Lake Pointe Dr) on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 11AM. Father Jerome Pastors will be officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30AM until the time of service.
The family would like to thank the staff at Aurora Cancer Center in Oshkosh and the office of Dr Zahid Dar.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be sent to the Aurora Cancer Center.
