Phillis June Leitl

Phillis June Leitl, 82, of Oshkosh, died peacefully at her home with her family at her side on Thursday, December 16, 2010. Phillis was born on November 17, 1928 in Oshkosh the daughter of Arthur and Mildred Boese Zwicky. She married Joseph F. Leitl on June 17, 1948 in Oshkosh. Joseph preceded her in death on January 26, 1982.Mrs. Leitl was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Nekimi. She had attended Oshkosh area schools and was a 1947 Oshkosh High School graduate. Phillis was a secretary in the Oshkosh area and was an active member of the Professional Secretaries Association.Survivors include sons, Thomas J. (Sean) Leitl and Edward J. Leitl both of Oshkosh; brother, William (Sandra) Zwicky of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Victoria A. Leitl of Illinois, and Eric T. Leitl of Oshkosh; great grandson Rhys Leitl of Oshkosh; and also many cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.A private family memorial service will be held. Phillis family would to express thanks to the caregivers from Aurora Visiting Nurses and Hospice, especially Nikki for the excellent care she received.
