Phyllis Benelia Morgan

Phyllis B. Morgan, age 95, of Oshkosh, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at Park View Health Center. She was born on June 22, 1920 a daughter to Lloyd and Sadie (Rothbarth) Books.Phyllis worked for Lamico, formerly Oshkosh Wood Products for 42 years, until her retirement in 1988.She enjoyed watching the Packers, playing BINGO, putting puzzles together, and other activities at the nursing home.Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Kaye (Gary) Hobart, Neenah; two grandsons: Mark Hobart, Portsmouth, VA and Michael Hobart, Menasha; one great grandson, Bentley Hobart; sister, LaVerne Cundy, Laona; sister in law, Lenora Books, Oshkosh; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Marion (Anna), Millard, Bernard (Margaret), and Richard (Elaine) Books; sister, Ellen (Harvey) Befus; and brother-in-law, John Cundy.A funeral service will be held for Phyllis at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Lake View Memorial Park Chapel (2786 Algoma Blvd.) Visitation will be held at the chapel from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in the memorial park.The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Park View Health Center for the love and care they provided for Phyllis.
