Phyllis M. Oleson

Phyllis M. Oleson, age 92, passed away at Aspire Senior Living on the morning of Monday, September 26, 2022. She was born to the late George and Meta (Juedes) Hintz on November 24, 1929, in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Phyllis was a graduate of Oshkosh High School. She married Robert B. Oleson on February 10, 1951, in Oshkosh. Phyllis worked as a secretary at Valley Press Printing for many years.

Phyllis was a lifelong resident of Oshkosh and very much enjoyed living lakeside. She enjoyed boating, reading, baking and most especially walking and exercising--often to be seen walking laps around the neighborhood. In later years she enjoyed watching the wildlife on the lake. She was a true sports fan: Packers, Brewers, Badgers, and any sport televised. Phyllis was stylish and creative in anything that she endeavored. She most especially enjoyed her family including 4 children, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Eric Oleson; daughters, Lynn Geiger, Lisa (Dennis) Pieper, and Lori “Dewi” (Art) Krug; as well as many grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob; brother, Earl Hintz; sisters, June, Delorise and Marlene as well as her daughter-in-law, Traci Oleson.

Per Phyllis’ wishes, a private service has been held.
