Ralph Douglas Kramer

November 19, 1917 — April 28, 2010

Ralph D. Kramer, age 92 of Oshkosh, died on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Bethel Home. He was born November 19, 1917 a son of the late Leslie and Ethel Hill Kramer. Ralph married Marjorie Burrows on November 30, 1946 in Bancroft and she preceded him in death on September 11, 1952. He married Vivian Lydia Strubel on April 23, 1955 in Waukegan, IL. She preceded him in death on January 26, 1997.Ralph proudly served his country in the Army 251st Army Signal Corps during WWII. He was awarded the Purple Heart. Ralph was a member of Disabled American Veterans Post 17, Cook-Fuller Post 70 of American Legion, where he served as post Chaplin, and inducted into the Members of the Purple Heart. Ralph was a faithful member of Algoma Blvd. United Methodist Church. He retired after 25 years of service at Kimberly-Clark Co. Ralph enjoyed golf and fishing at his cottage near Mt. Morris.Survivors include one daughter, Linda (Michael) Muehrer, Oshkosh; two grandchildren, Todd (Sarah) Muehrer, Oshkosh and Tracy (Kevin) Temme, Oshkosh; four great grandchildren, Cooper Temme, Riley Temme, Ava Muehrer, and Noah Muehrer, all of Oshkosh; two brothers, Gordon Kramer, Bancroft; Wayne (Esther) Kramer, Bancroft; five sisters, Nona Getzlaff, Stevens Point; Harriett Brandt, Wisconsin Rapids, Mildred (Charles) Dromolka, Wild Rose, Marjorie Baitinger, Wild Rose; and Beverly (Bud) Putz, Minocqua. He was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.Funeral services will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 11:30 AM with he Rev. Barry Yarbro officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 9:30 AM to the time of service. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park with Military Honors by the United Veterans Honor Guard.
