Ralph R. Rothe

Ralph R. Rothe, 84, of Oshkosh, died peacefully Sunday, July 12, 2015, at his home. He was born June 28, 1931, in Oshkosh, a son of the late Oscar and Elsie (Long) Rothe. On December 5, 1953, he married Shirley Baker in Oshkosh.Ralph was a supervisor at Aurora Candle Co. for many years and also worked at Lakeshore Golf Course after his retirement. He doted on his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed the outdoors-especially hunting, fishing, and golfing.Ralph is survived by his wife, Shirley of Oshkosh; a daughter, Susan (Paul) Strieby of Kettering, OH; a son, Gregory L. (Connie) Rothe of Oshkosh; a sister, Betty Szep of Oshkosh; a brother, Oscar Jr. (Alice) Rothe of Oshkosh; five grandchildren, Thomas (Amanda) Witczak, Daniel Witczak, Jennifer (Jason) Witczak-Tiffany, Andrew Rothe and Steven Rothe all of Oshkosh; and four great-grandchildren, Benjamin Witczak, Kendyl Witczak, Rylan Witczak, and Harmony Tiffany. He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.Private services for Ralph are being held with inurnment in Lake View Memorial Park.
