Ralph Wiliam Hoeft

Ralph passed peacefully on November 21, 2014. He was born on April 23, 1929, son of the late Oscar and Viola Hoeft in Oshkosh. He married Arline Schroeder on April 28, 1956 at Grace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.Ralph was employed at Oshkosh Paper, Leslie Papers and Menasha Corporation after serving his country in the Army during the Korean War.Both Ralph and Arline enjoyed numerous years of ballroom and square dancing. They also enjoyed socializing in varies dance clubs and playing cards with family and friend. During the summer months you could find Ralph out on Lakeshore Municipal Golf Course. Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Arline; daughter, Debbie; one sister, Joyce (Herb) Jungwirth and brother and sisters-in-law, David (Dorothy) Schroeder, Robert (Colleen) Schroeder, John (Bonnie) Schroeder, Ken Stadler, Oscar Leichtfuss, Shirley (Gordy) Roeder, Joyce (Willy) Krepline and Grace (Carl) Strum.Ralph is also survived by many other relative, nieces and nephews and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Hoeft Alverson.Funeral services will be held on Monday at West side Konrad- Bellman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Pointe Drive with visitation from 3 PM to 5 PM followed by the service. Private burial will be held the following day at Peace Lutheran Cemetery.Our family would like to thank Heartland Care and all the caregivers at The Waterford, especially Emily, Zach, Kayla, Rose, Katie, Sabrina, Jen, Rachel and Mark. Ralph will always be remembered for his friendliness and great sense of humor.
