Ralph William Farber

Ralph W. Farber, 87, of Oshkosh died Tuesday January 29, 2008 at Evergreen Retirement Community. He was born July 5, 1920 in Oshkosh a son of the late Joseph and Ida Weideman Farber. Ralph married Lorraine H. Dolan on March 11, 1944 in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on April 19, 1987. Ralph had worked for many years at Mercury Marine and was member of Christ Lutheran Church. His survivors include a daughter Jean (Dennis) Gerth of Pulaski; two sons Gary Farber and Roger (Betsey) Farber both of Oshkosh; a sister-in-law June Breager; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Ralph was also preceded in death by a daughter JoAnn Ziebell; a son Jeffrey Farber; an infant son; five sisters Ruth Bunke, Goldie Schreiber, Pearl Griedl, Janet Schettle, and Esther Farber; and two brothers Walter Farber and Alvin Breager. Funeral services for Ralph will be held Saturday February 2, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, Rev. Karen Jewell officiating. Family and friends may call at the Lake Pointe Dr. funeral home on Saturday from 9 AM until the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Evergreen Retirement Community
