Ramona Delores Brand

Ramona Delores Brand, age 80 of Oshkosh, died on Saturday morning at Mercy Medical Center. A devoted Christian, Mrs. Brand was a long time member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School, served in the choir and was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary Society. She retired in 2005 from Mercy Medical Center, having worked there for 32 years as a switchboard operator.Mrs. Brand is survived by her husband of 57 years, Marlin H. Brand, children Mary Grubbs (Mark), David (Lori), Tom (Judy), Bill (Laurie), Amy Spiegel (Norm), and Matthew (Kris), 25 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, brother Walter Boynton (Kay), sister-in-law Ruth Gillette, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter, Sr., and Clara Boynton. The funeral will be held at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church (913 Nebraska St.) on Tuesday August 4, 2009 at Noon with Pastors Gregg Schoeneck and Chad Graham, along with staff minister John Lippert officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the time of service. Private interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Park. The family suggests that memorials be made to Grace Ev.
