Renee Michele Dupie, 43, of Waukesha WI passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 8, 2022.
Renee was born in Ontonagon, Michigan on May 8, 1978, as the second of three daughters to Diane (Miller) and John Dupie Jr. She graduated from Ontonagon Area High School in 1996 and went on to study social work at Gogebic Community College. She also studied nursing at Fox Valley Technical College.
As a child, Renee enjoyed playing volleyball and cheerleading. She also enjoyed snowboarding, doing crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren. Renee was well-known for her sense of humor. She was compassionate, working mostly in certified nursing facilities with older adults and children with disabilities. Renee struggled for many years with addiction issues, yet she remained committed to her family, many friends, and to a better life for herself. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Renee is survived by her fiancé, Dustin; daughter, Esera Amos; son, Elijah Dupie; mother, Diane Dupie; sisters: Heather (Mark) Burgess, Nikki (Eric) Kulppi, Amy Guy (Derek); Brother, Joe (Morgan) Guy; grandchildren: Nayeli, Nelena, Noah and Ensley; nieces: Mylee, Maddy, Cecelia; nephews: John and Jacob. Renee is preceded in death by her father, John; sister, Amber; grandparents, John and Lois Dupie and William and Jeannette Miller.
A celebration of life for Renee will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh. Visitation will take place on Sunday at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service.
