Ria Marie Paulus

Ria Maria Strabel Paulus, 80, of Oshkosh, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Bethel Home after an illness of several months. She was born in Mammolshin, Germany on January 7, 1934. She married Roger Paulus in Oshkosh, WI on October 27, 1962. Roger preceded her in death on October 11, 2010. Ria lived in Oshkosh all of her married life. She worked at Stanard Colesman for ten years. Ria was planning on going back to Germany to visit her cousins and many good friends. She loved to feed the birds and rabbits in her back yard. Her Oshkosh friends will miss her. We lived you Ria!Survivors include a nephew, Dale Graef of Richfield; niece, Carol (Paul) Purgett of Jackson; sister-in-law, Marie Graef of Richfield; and cousins, Reinner Schnider and Honna Lory Meinhart both of Germany.Funeral service will be on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside). Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.Memorials to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
