Richard Arnold Kroll, age 66, peacefully entered his Heavenly home on January 15, 2009. He was born on September 28, 1942 in Oshkosh, son of the late Arnold and Willebelle Kroll. He married Nancy (Koechell) on June 20, 1964 in Oshkosh. He was a life-long member of New Life Community Church, and his life was defined by his faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Richard was employed as a machinist at Rockwell International for 25 years. His work ethic was demonstrated through his commitment and dedication to provide for his family. Richard willingly served others sharing Gods love with the elderly and lending a kind hand to those in need. He had a passion and natural ability to tinker with and repair anything mechanical and often used these God-given talents to help others. His many hobbies included motorcycling, fishing, collecting antique fishing lures and reels, archery, and photography. His greatest joy in life was spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.Richard was surrounded by family and close friends in his peaceful passing. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his two sons, Jeff (Jill) Kroll of Oshkosh; their children Joshua, Jennifer, and Justine; and James (Kellee) Kroll of Appleton and their son Cameron. He is also survived by four brothers-in-law: Ron (Chris) Koechell, Merrin (Sue) Koechell, and Dean (Robin) Koechell of Oshkosh, and Dale (Jane) Koechell of Wautoma, and loving extended family and friends.Visitation will be on Monday, January 19, 2009 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Pointe Drive (off Witzel Ave) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Immediately following the visitation, funeral service will be held at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Elliott officiating. We invite you to share in a lunch with family at New Life Community Church, 3250 West Ninth Street, following the service.We wish to sincerely thank Dr. Mamoun Al-Nouri and his staff for his many years of compassion and care as well as the nursing staff at Mercy Medical Center ICU.We invite you to cherish the memories of his life and celebrate the glories of his new Heavenly home.
