Richard C Wohlt

Richard Carlton Wohlt, age 77, passed from his earthly home on May 29, 2018 and was called to his heavenly home by his Lord and Savior. He was born on June 24, 1940 to the late Carlton and Irene (Hoffman) Wohlt. He married Gloria Zimdars on June 7, 1969 and they were blessed with two sons, Gregory and Cameron. Richard loved God’s majestic woods of Michigan, biking along the lake and watching the birds return each spring. He worked for Kimberly Clark for 5 years in the U.P. of Michigan and 41 years at O.M.T. till retirement in 2009. He was a member at Grace Lutheran Church for 43 years.
Richard is survived by Gloria and Gregory, as well as his sisters, Sharon (PJ) Thompson, and Marcia (Dave) Wiedemann.
In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his son Cameron.
A visitation will be held from 9-10AM on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Lake View Memorial Park (2786 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh, WI 54901). A private service will be taking place following the visitation with Pastor Chadwick Graham officiating.
