Richard Chapman

Richard Lee Chapman. Richard was 65 when he went to be with the Lord, with his family by his side on Sunday, August 11, 2013. Richard was born December 19, 1948 to the late Clyde and Lorraine (Jacobson) Chapman. As a teenager Richard loved to play the drums. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go fishing with his brothers. Richard served in the Army and was a Vietnam Vet.Richard is survived by two children, Jody and Tammy; brother, Clyde Chapman; two sisters, Gail (Russ) Schimmer and Patti Chapman; sister in law Carol Dahnke, and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Wayne Chapman and Rodger Chapman.A memorial service will be held at Konrad-Behlman (Eastside) on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.Richards family would like to thank Fox River Rehab for the care given to Richard and also to Jessica with family services for always keeping a watchful eye over him.Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain."
