Richard E Malnory

Richard E. Malnory, 76, of Oshkosh died Sunday January 1, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born June 4, 1929, in Eureka, a son of Bert and Iva Malnory.Richard married Eileen (Pelzer) on July 2, 1949 in Waupaca. They celebrated 56 years together last July. Richard worked as a semi driver for the Radford Company for 44 years retiring in 1991. Richard was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oshkosh, he enjoyed golf, and was a member of the Wautoma Country Club; in his younger days he enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling with the Snow Pioneers Snowmobiling Club of Oshkosh. He loved to travel, he and Eileen traveled to Arizona for the winter months. They lived in Wautoma from 1984 until moving back to Oshkosh in 2000. His biggest joy was babysitting his grandchildren. Richard is survived by his wife, Eileen, four daughters, Roxie Malnory of Oshkosh, Jeri Lou (Steve) Groth of Oshkosh, Barbara (Kevin) Luft of Pickett, and Randie Malnory of New Hampshire, one brother, William (Ardena) Malnory of Red Granite, a sister, Betty (Emory) Nelson of Oshkosh; nine grandchildren, Shane (Sharon) Malnory, Roxee Lynn Malnory, Kaycee Luft, Jayme Luft, Courtneey Groth, Derek Groth, Amy Galicia, Lisa Galicia, and Shannon (Misty) Galicia, and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters, Buster, Laverne, Janet, Burton, Daryl, Etheline, Wesley Pete, and Beatrice.Funeral service for Richard will be held on Thursday January 5, 2006, at 6:00 pm at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home – eastside with Rev. Daniel Krause officiating. Family and friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the hour of service. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established. Richards family would like to thank the staffs of Aspen Inn, New Haven, and Northpoint Medical and Rehab Center for all their care and compassion shown.
