Richard Gordon Gehrke

Richard G. Dick Gehrke, age 75, of Oshkosh, died Sunday March 9, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on July 26, 1938 in Oshkosh the son of Gordon and LaVerna Bratsch Gehrke. On July 1, 1967 he married Darlene Abraham at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Van Dyne.Dick was a member of Peace Lutheran Church where he sang in the church choir and was on the Church Leadership Team. He also sang with the Winnebagoland Barbershop Chorus, and the chorus at the Oshkosh Senior Center. He was a docent at EAA, delivered Meals on Wheels and enjoyed bowling.He is survived by his wife Darlene, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services for Dick will be held on Wednesday March 12, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. John Worzala-Dumke officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 11, 2014 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside from 4-7 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday one hour prior to the funeral. Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.A memorial has been established.The family would like to thank the staff at Omro Care and Affinity Health Care.
