Richard Harold Elmer

.Richard “Dick” H. Elmer, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at Parkview Health Center. He was born on June 21, 1939 in Oshkosh. Dick married Marlene Robl in 1968.
He graduated from Oshkosh High School and went on to honorably serve his country in the U.S. Air Force. Dick worked several jobs throughout the years, but enjoyed his years driving truck.
He enjoyed bowling, playing poker, loved NASCAR and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. In his youth, he raced and competed in demolition derbies.
Dick is survived by his two sons: John (Robin) Elmer and Mike (Jana) Robl both of Oshkosh; several grandchildren: Mikelle and Hannah Robl, Madie Bahr, and Noah Elmer; and sister: Jean Boushley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
A funeral service for Dick will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes- Westside with Nathan Ericson officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
