Rita Marie Samida

Rita Marie Samida, 81, of Oshkosh died Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Northpoint Medical and Rehabilitation Center. Rita was born Dec. 18, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Kurt and Marie LaTour. She married John Samida Feb 24, 1951, in Oshkosh. Rita worked a few jobs outside the home, but loved babysitting other peoples children which she did most of her life. She enjoyed being with family, playing cribbage, going to the casino and her cat bootsie. She was also a big fan of the Packers and Willie Nelson. Rita is survived by her son Peter (Mary) Samida; son-in-law, Larry Mader; four grandchildren, David Samida, Michelle Mader, Micheal (Ann) Mader, Danny (Whitney) Mader; five great grand children, Alaina Lokken, Rueben Mader, Liam Mader, Kager and Xavier Mader; step-grandchildren, Anna (John) Gerhke, Tammy Mader, Tracy Schmude and their children. She is further survived by her special nephew Bernie Burzik and special nieces that visited her, Debbie Krueger and Pammy Hensen.Rita is preceded in death by her husband John, and Daughter Paula Mader. A funeral service for Rita will be held at the Konrad-Behlman eastside funeral home on October 15, 2015 at 5:00PM. Rev. Ralph Hanusa will be officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00PM until the time of service.
