Robert A. Rupnick, 55, of Oshkosh, died Saturday January 5, 2008 in White Pine, Michigan. He was born September 15, 1952 in Ohio a son of Robert and Edna Wuolo Rupnick. In August 1988 he married Carol Gerner in Oshkosh.He graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1970. He drove truck over the road for 15 years and worked for the Oshkosh School district for 17 years. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, and golfing. He cared for and was always helping people.He is survived by his wife Carol, two sons Nicholas Rupnick and Brandon Rupnick all of Oshkosh, one daughter Christina Rupnick of Redding, CA., his mother Edna Rupnick of White Pine, Michigan, one brother Bill(Jeanne) Rupnick of Oshkosh, three sisters Jane(Russell) Mathe of Oshkosh, Mary Sue(Monroe) Rabe of Oshkosh, Barbara(Dan) Huismann of Olympia, WA., mother-in-law Dorothy Gerner, sisters-in-law Karen(Ron) Neuman, Alan(Sherie) Gerner, Sharon(Richard) Pahl, many nieces, nephews, whom he loved and cherished.He was preceded in death by his father Robert Rupnick, his father-in-law Robert Gerner, and a sister-in-law Cheryl Gerner.A memorial service will be held on Thursday January 10, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church (700 W. Linwood Ave, Oshkosh-3 blocks northwest of Jackson St. & Murdock Ave, 3 blocks northwest of Jackson St and Murdock Ave)) with Rev. Earl Lindsay officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.You were a wonderful dad and husband and we will always love and miss you.
