Robert C. Hielsberg

Robert C. Hielsberg, 72 of Oshkosh died Tuesday morning at Bethel Home. He was born in Oshkosh on January 15, 1937 son of Elmer and Alma Arndt Hielsberg. On September 22, 1956 he married Barbara A. Koch in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on July 30, 1996. On March 12, 2000 he married Sally A. Flack.Bob was employed by 7Up Bottlers for 16 years; Zaugs Vending for 16 years; and at Mills Fleet Farm in Sporting Goods for 11 years. He also worked part time at T&O Lanes. He had been a champion bowler.He is survived by his wife, Sally Hielsberg of Oshkosh; two sons, Gregory (Margarita) Hielsberg of Miami Beach, FL, and Jim (Vicky) Hielsberg of Oshkosh; daughter, Julie (Mark) Konop of Stangleville, WI; brothers, Gordon (Jean) Hielsberg and Elmer (Judy) Hielsberg both of Oshkosh; sisters, Lucille (Richard) Koch, and Ruth Gerth both of Oshkosh; stepsons, Randy (Angie) Woldt, and Scott (Lynn) Woldt both of Oshosh; stepdaughter, Kim Lynch of Oshkosh; stepsister, Diane (Jerry) Zacharias of Ripon, WI; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Lindsay, Kimberly, Kara, Jamie, Tanner, and Josie; and stepgrandchildren, Sean, Sarah, Hilary, Parker, and Madison, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Arnold Hielsberg.Bobs memorial service will be on Friday July 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside with Rev. Tim Greenwald officiating. Inurnment will be in Ellenwood Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.The family wishes to express their heartfelt graditude to the Affinity Hospice and Volunteers, especially, Pat; the Bethel Home Staff.
