Robert D Case

Robert D. Case, 74, of Oshkosh, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Eden Meadows. He was born to Robert and Ruth (Radig) Case in Oshkosh on July 30, 1944. He graduated from Oshkosh High School, and later joined the Army National Guard, serving from 1964 until 1970. Bob married his wife of 52 years, Margaret “Peggy” Stellpflug, on May 21, 1966 at Peace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Together with his wife, he farmed for many years, but worked as a carpenter most of his life. He retired from Packer Valley Builders to spend time with family and friends. Bob loved the holidays and any occasion where he could share a meal with the people in his life. Some of his favorite memories were traveling with his wife, sisters, and brothers-in-law. He enjoyed going to the cabin, spending time with his grandchildren, and mowing acres of lawn, plus miles of ditch.
Bob is survived by his wife, Peggy; five children Donald Case; Steven (Cary) Case, their children Lauren, Ella, and Sawyer; William Case; Kathy (William) Vomastic; Andy (Holly) Case, their children Dillon and Samuel; two sisters Peggy (Larry) Nigl and Bonnie Case; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by two sisters and one brother-in-law, Diane Case, Sandra and Richard Ristow.
A funeral service will be held at Konrad-Behlman Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dr.) on Monday, September 3, 2018 at 6PM. Rev. Josh Sherman will be officiating. A visitation will be held from 3PM until the time of service. Burial will take place at Tice Cemetery in the Town of Omro.
