Robert Donald Futta

Robert ?oeBob?? D. Futta, 79, of Oshkosh, passed away at Bethel Home on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. He was born on February 27, 1931 in Oshkosh, in the same house his mother was born in, the son of Elmer and Lora Futta. He married Shirley Marlene Krenz on August 18, 1951 in Menasha, WI. They had three children, Debbie, Dan, and Sandy. He was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. He was a truck driver for 32 years. Bob loved deer hunting with his boys and especially loved ice fishing. He enjoyed driving which prompted a lot of travel with his family. He loved dogs and his ?oelittle people??. Bob is survived by his wife; two daughters Debbie(Steve) Frick, Sandy(Jim) Staerkl; five grandchildren, Sara Wichman, Josh (Shannon) Futta, Marcy (Jim) Tyson, Chad Staerkel, and Annie (Brian) Moore; seven great grandchildren, Faith, Hailey, Mallory, Paige, Christian, Samuel, and Leah; sister, Jean (Bob) Roe; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Dan, in June; his parents, Elmer and Lora; and his nephew, Steve Roe. The funeral service will be on Monday Nov. 29, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church (370 Bowen St). Visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 9 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
