Robert Erich Weber

Robert E.Bob Weber, 85, of Oshkosh, was born June 24, 1926 in Ripon, Wisconsin the oldest son of Erich and Clara Tiedt Weber. As a young man, Robert attended the Ripon Public Schools and in 1946 he married Virginia Sommers. In 1948 the moved to Oshkosh and he was employed by Rockwell Standard and later Morning Glory Dairy, Kraft Foods, and Russ Allens Corn Stand.Robert was a member of the Oshkosh Elks Lodge for over 30 years. He was a past member of the Oshkosh Lakeshore Lions Club. Robert was an avid fisherman, loved his schnauzer Pepper, and enjoyed his weekly fish fry with his best friends Jack and Dorothy Scheur.He is survived by his sons Bruce(Joan) Weber of Merritt Island, FL., Robert Weber of Appleton, one daughter Merikay(Ron) Suttner of Menasha, grandchildren Jonathon, Jael, Kevin, Melissa, Mitchell, Matthew, great-grandchildren Moorea, Jamin, Landon, Ella, and Olivia.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Virginia, and one brother James.Funeral services for Bob will be held on Friday April 13, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from noon until the time of the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.A memorial has been established.Bobs family would like to thank the staff of Evergreen Retirement Community for their care of Bob.
