Robert James Leitl

Robert J. Leitl, age 54 of Oshkosh, died at Theda Clark Medical Center on Friday, September 3, 2010. Bob was born in Oshkosh on October 23, 1955, a son of Roland and Mertie Minckler Leitl. He married Rose Reed in Oshkosh on November 30, 1990.Bob was employed with the Bemis Company. He was an active member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish where he served as an usher. He enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, gardening and feeding the birds in his yard.Survivors include his wife, Rose Leitl, Oshkosh; two sons, Brett Leitl, Milwaukee; Nicholas Leitl, Oshkosh, one daughter, Margaret Leitl, Oshkosh; his mother, Mertie Leitl, Oshkosh; two brothers, Michael (Sharon) Leitl, Lansdale, PA and David (Lori) Leitl, Cedarburg; and by neighbor and close friend, Carol Madaus and family. He was preceded in death by his father, Roland and a brother, Joseph Leitl; and good friend, Don Madaus.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Marys Church on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. James Jugenheimer officiating. Family and friends may call at St Marys Church (605 Merritt Ave.) on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to the time of Mass. Interment will be at Minckler Cemetery.
