Robert Milton Wesenberg

Robert M. Wesenberg, 84, of Oshkosh passed away Tuesday September 20, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born July 4, 1921 in Oshkosh the son of Gust Jerry and Lydia Wesenberg. Bob married June A. Janssen on August 2, 1952 in Oshkosh. They were married for over 53 years. Bob served his country in the Army as a medic in WWII from 1943-1946. He was employed by Rockwell International for 37 years, retiring in 1982. Bob was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church, a member of the American Legion Cook-Fuller Post 70, and its Last Mens Club of WWII. He enjoyed his many trips to Florida and Branson, MO. Bob also enjoyed watching his two grandchildrens activities. Bob is survived by his wife June, a son James (Mary) Wesenberg, a granddaughter Sara, a grandson Michael, a brother Martin (Janice) Wesenberg, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ervin H. Wesenberg, and a sister Germaine Neubauer. Funeral services for Bob will be held Friday September 23, 2005 at 6:00 PM at Christ Lutheran Church, Rev. Arnold Stilwell officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday from 4 PM until the service. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established.
