Robert Reitz

Robert Rexford Reitz, born on June 29, 1976, in Oshkosh, WI, passed away on July 24, 2024, at the age of 48. Fondly known as Rob, he was a beloved son of Douglas Reitz and Ann Albrecht, a devoted father to his children Morgan and Ben, and a cherished brother to Rich and Angie.

Rob was a maintenance technician at Mercy Medical Center, where his expertise and intelligence were unrivaled. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Rob was the life of the party, always with a joke ready to make everyone laugh. His love for golfing, hunting, and cheering on Wisconsin sports teams could brighten any room.

With his creative spirit and exceptional handiness, Rob could build or fix anything with ease. His passion for the outdoors and knack for problem-solving made him a natural at his trade. His kindness and warmth touched the lives of all who knew him.

Rob is survived by his children, Morgan and Ben Reitz; parents, Douglas (Andrea) Reitz and Ann (Brian) Albrecht; brother, Rich (Christy Poeschl) Reitz; sister, Angie (Troy) Egan; grandmother, Donna Reitz; the mother of his children, Lisa Reitz; nieces and nephews, Gavin (Maddie) Reitz, Madelynn (Jordan Pemble) Reitz, Claire (Marc Kimball) Calkins, and Cole Calkins, as well as many aunt, uncles, cousins, and friends

Rob was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Leona Reichenberger and paternal grandfather, Rexford Reitz.

A memorial service for Rob will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dr) on August 1, 2024, at 6PM. A time of visitation will be held from 3PM until the time of services.
