Robert W. Yost

Robert Bobby Yost, 62, of Oshkosh, went home Sunday October 21, 2007 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center in Fond du Lac. He was born on September 22, 1945 in Owen, WI the son of Vance and Adeline Buss Yost. He is survived by his only sister, Sandra (Thomas) Benderling of Appleton, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.Bobby accomplished much although having a disability, including being associated with the Boy Scouts for over 30 years and was a 1st Lieutenant in the Civil Air Patrol when he was younger, driving his own car, deer hunting, traveling, and office work at UW-O for awhile, and had been longtime member of the First English Lutheran Church and had been employed as a dispatcher for the Oshkosh Cab Company. Bobbys deep faith and sense of humor were an inspiration to all who knew him. A very special and heart-felt thank-you to all the many people who cared for Bobby and greatly added to his quality of life these past years, especially those from Willow Housing and Social Services enabling him to achieve adult independence, and more recently the dedicated staff at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, Kindred Hospital, in Greenfield, WI and the All About Life Rehabilitation Center in Fond du Lac. Thank you and God bless you all.His funeral service will be on October 25, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside with the pastors of First English Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in the Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. A memorial to the First English Lutheran Church has been established.
