Rocky Lee Buhrow

Rocky L. Buhrow age 50, of Oshkosh died on Saturday December 27th 2008. With fighting a long battle with cancer, he died at home with his family by his side. He was born in Oshkosh on July 27, 1958, a son of the late Roger and Frances Buhrow.Rocky married Kim E. Phillips on June 25, 1977 in Oshkosh, sharing 31 loving years together. Rocky had been employed by Morgan Doors which is now Jeld-Wen, Miles Kimball and Oshkosh Insulation. Rocky enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting darts, volleyball, softball, golf and most of all he enjoyed his grandchildren.He is survived by his wife Kim Buhrow; daughter Angela (Jeremy) Techlow; a son Adam (Dee Miller) Buhrow; his grandchildren Kyle, Samantha, Lexy, Brittney, Morgan Techlow; AJ, Amber, and Anthony Buhrow. He is also survived by a sister Penny (Randy) Joubert, and brothers Stan (Alice) Buhrow, Matt (Pam) Buhrow, Mark (Ruthann) Buhrow, and his father and mother-in-law Ted and Joan Phillips, a brother-in-law Tiff (Susan) Phillips, and sisters-in-law Molly (Al) Buhrow, Julie (John) Hadel, and Shannon Romas; and several nieces and nephews. Rocky was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dennis Buhrow.Visitation will be at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside on Saturday January 3, 2009 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and a funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial to the American Cancer Society has been established.Rockys family would like to thank Dr. Karen Gremminger and her staff, the Hospice team for the wonderful care and support throughout his illness.
