Roger C. Waterman

Roger C. Waterman, age 91, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014, at Park View Health Center. He was born on December 15, 1922, in Plainfield, WI. Roger served our country in the Army from 1943-1945. He was united in marriage to Audrey Kramer on September 19, 1942, in Plainfield and she preceded him in death on June 22, 1988. He was then married on October 14, 1989, to Mildred Henschel- Harks in Oshkosh and she preceded him in death on June 29, 2007. Roger was employed at Registered Homes and later worked for Georgia-Pacific Co. Roger and Mildred were instrumental in bringing the Senior Center to completion, worked with C.W.A.G., and were very active in the A.A.R.P., where they were community coordinators for Wisconsin.Roger is survived by one son, Dennis (Diane) Waterman; three grandchildren, James (Lusine) Waterman, Sara (Shawn) Kneevers, and Anthony (Tami) Waterman; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wives and one sister.Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 11:00 am at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside with Deacon John Ingala officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Entombment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park-Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum, Neenah.A special thank you is extended to the staff at Park View Health Center for all the wonderful help and care given to Roger.
