Ronald B. Smith

Ronald B. Smith, 56, of Oshkosh died Friday June 8, 2012, at his home. He was born January 28, 1956 in Oshkosh to George and Mary (Ciscel) Smith. Ron graduated from Omro High School in 1974 and worked at Marvel Manufacturing Co. for 23 years. He enjoyed hunting, camping, playing darts, and caring about his many cats. Ron is survived by his parents, George and Mary Smith; a special friend, Barb Rees and his cat, Baby Smith; a son Douglas (Laura) Smith; a daughter, Amber (Eric) Martin; three sisters, Roxanne (Ken Senger), Roberta (Tim) Connor, and Rochelle (Randy) Rauwerdink; and granddaughters, Guinevere and Madeleine Smith. He was preceded in death by a brother Randall. A memorial service for Ron is being held Saturday June 16, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, Rev. Rick Hopkins officiating. Visitation will be held at the Lake Pointe Dr. funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
