Ronald Edward Braasch

Ronald E. Braasch, 76, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 at his home. He was born on January 22, 1938 to Lorraine and Harry Braasch of Winnebago, WI. He married Roxana Tiedje in 1958 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Oshkosh.Ron retired from Kimberly Clark in 2000.Ron took pride in many things, one of which was planting a huge vegetable garden every year. He enjoyed going sturgeon spearing this past year. He loved to fish and hunt, most of his life. He spent many hours in his shop repairing and rebuilding many projects. He was a jack of all trades. We will miss him dearly.He is survived by his wife, Roxana; two daughters, Annette (Youssef) Rahim and Lisa Braasch (special friend Corky Furman); four grandchildren, Stephanie OKon, Jordan Butzlaff, Jesse and Barack Rahim; a great grandchild, Braelynn Rose; a sister, Joyce (Robert) Miller; two brothers, Roger (Marion) Braasch and Jerome (Mary) Braasch; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Braasch. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Braasch.Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside.A memorial service for Ron will be held on Friday August 1, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the service.In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.A private burial will take place at Brooks Cemetery at a later date.
