Ronald Gary Kromm

Ronald Ron Gary Kromm, 69, of Oshkosh, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV while vacationing to celebrate his 47th wedding anniversary. Ron was born on March 23, 1947 to Samuel and Lucille (Jones) Kromm. Ronald married the love of his life, Christine Marx on July 26, 1969 and their marriage was blessed with three daughters, his girls.Ron earned his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin at Platteville. He worked as a project manager at Hamilton Sundstrand for over 30 years in Rockford, Illinois.Rons first and foremost joy was his family. He adored his wife, children and grand children. He enjoyed farming, golfing, and was an avid sportsman who hunted and fished. In recent years, Ron and Chris made many incredible memories traveling the world. Ron was also a loyal brother, uncle and friend.Ron is survived by the love of his life, Chris. His girls: Amy (Andrew) Osenar, Alison (Jeremy) Wineberg and Andrea (Emory) Nelson; grand-children: Lucille, Charlotte, Samuel, Silas, Benjamin and Anna Jane; brother: Tom (Penny) Kromm; Sisters-in-law: Mary Lynn (Bob) Schraufnagel and Susan (Steve Endries) Bovinet; his aunt Betty; nephews: Matthew, Michael, Eric, Ryan and David; nieces: Brooke, Laura, Krista and Lindsey Susan. Ron is also survived by Jim, Ray and many other treasured friends.Ron was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law (Betty Marx) and father-in-law (James Marx).A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, September 19, 2016 at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 830 S. Westhaven Drive, with Fr. Edward Looney officiating. Visitation will be on Monday at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes- Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 with procession to the church. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery. A memorial will be established by the family.
