Ronald James Resop

Ronald J. Resop, 69, of Oshkosh, died Friday December 30, 2005 at his home. He was born in Oshkosh on July 1, 1936 the son of Joseph and Alvina Spanbauer Resop. On September 1, 1956 he married Sally Abraham.Ron had been employed by the Coca Cola Co for forty six years. He also worked in food service at West High School from 1998-2002. He was a member the St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church. Ron is survived by his wife, Sally Resop of Oshkosh, two sons, Tony (Paula) Resop of Crawford, GA, and Timothy Resop of Oshkosh, three daughters, Joan (James) Resop, Brenda (James) Schrader, and Diane Clark all of Oshkosh, a brother, Kenneth (Barb) Resop of Oshkosh, three sisters, Bernice (Clifford) Berger, Evelyn Clark, and Sister Jane Resop SSND all of Oshkosh, and nine grandchildren, Michael, Zackery, Abbigale, Andrew, Tyler, Stacy, Hunter, Makala, and Brandon. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Norbert and David Resop.His funeral will be Wednesday January 4, 2006 at 7:30 PM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside with the Rev. Carl Schmitt officiating. Entombment will be in the Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
