Rose Gusty Kraus

Rose G. Kraus, age 92, of Oshkosh, died Wednesday May 8, 2013 at Bethel Home. Rose was born December 1, 1920 in Oshkosh a daughter Raymond Ader and Julia Audinoski. Rose married Orrin Melvin Kraus on August 16, 1941 in Oshkosh. Orrin preceded Rose in death on May 10, 1999. Rose was a loving mother and wife who enjoyed working side by side with her husband Orrin on their farm as well as at the Omro Kiwanis Club. Rose adored animals and flowers. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.Rose is survived by her son Ken Kraus of Oshkosh, her daughter Karen Kraus Sowers of Moline,IL, a sister Dorothy Schewel of Moline, IL., and her grandson Robert (Regina) Sowers of Sherrard, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son Dennis, and her siblings Mary, Ann, Louis, Joseph, John, William, Estelle, Adeline, Florence, Edward, and Wenzel.Funeral services for Rose will be held Saturday May 11, 2013, at 11: 00 A.M. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside with Rev. John Worzala Dumke officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday at the funeral home from 9:00 A.M. until the services. Burial will take place at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established for the Oshkosh Area Humane Society. Roses family would like to thank the staff of Bethel Home and Aurora Hospice for their care during this difficult time.
