Russell Herman Reinke

Russell H. Reinke, 82 of Oshkosh, died Tuesday November 18, 2008 at his home. He was born in Winneconne on March 10, 1926 son of Herman and Ida Wiskow Reinke. On January 6, 1971 he married Maxine V. Spanbauer in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on September 16, 2001. Russell had been employed by the Universal Foundry in Oshkosh. He had served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards with his grandson, Mark. He is survived by a son, Michael (Robin) Sommerfeld of Little Chute, WI; a daughter, Alice Krueger of Oshkosh; three sisters, Delores (Don) Haidlinger of Oshkosh, Marceil Troudt of Oshkosh, and Betty Sawyer of DePere, WI; two grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Frederick, Lloyd Ted, and Roland Mulligan Reinke; and two sisters, Inez Franke, and Rosetta Reinke.Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
