Ruth passed away peacefully Monday, August 25, 2008 at the age of 93. She dedicatedher life to music and a brighter Oshkosh. In addition to being an accomplished pianist,thousands have enjoyed Ruths extraordinary talent playing the wondrous pipe organ atmore than 20 churches in the community.The keyboard was Ruths avocation and focal point of life and she shared her gift withdozens of students over her lifetime. Her vocational roles as stenographer, bookkeeperand secretary at government agencies and major companies, including C.R. Meyerprovided her living but it was music that was her passion.Ruth touched the lives of many and described by her dear friends as a woman of grace,dignity, love, quick wit, honor and trust. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday,August 28th at 11 a.m. at Konrad Behlman Funeral Home, 402 Waugoo Ave, Oshkosh.Ruths legacy will continue in perpetuity with a named fund at the Womens Fund of theOshkosh Area Community Foundation.
