Ruth Ann Selwitschka, age 63, daughter of William and Carol (Veith) Selwitschka passed away at Mercy Medical Center on June 7, 2018. She had been severely depressed since the passing of her sister, Jean, on May 21st.
She is survived by her father, brother William Jr., aunts June Veith, Donna Calkins, Frances Mondl and Helen Selwitschka. Uncles William Veith, John Selwitschka, James Selwitschka and Jerald Selwitschka and many cousins, neices and nephews.
Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Carol, and sisters, Jean Louise and Roberta Ann Selwitschka.
Ruth enjoyed watching old movies and her knowledge of the actors and their roles was exceptional. She liked dining out with family and friends and rarely declined an invitation. Ruth had a lifelong fascination with tigers and had a huge collection of every tiger memorabilia possible, especially stuffed, and one in particular referred to as Mr. Big.
Ruth Ann was bom in Oshkosh at Mercy Hospital but resided in many states during her life including Virginia, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, California, Hawaii, Louisiana and Arizona. A few years ago she returned to Wisconsin and established residence here.
A memorial service for Ruth Ann will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home Westside-100 Lake Pointe Dr. with Dr. Alan Cleveland officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
