Ruth D. Stowe

Ruth D. Stowe, 85 of Oshkosh, died Saturday June 9, 2007 at the Aurora Medical Center. She was born in Oshkosh on December 17, 1921 the daughter of Alvin C. and Barbara F. Mueller Otto. On June 9, 1945 she married Robert F. Stowe in Greenville, SC. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1990.Ruth was a member of the All Saints Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. She had been employed by H.C. Prange until her retirement in 1973.She is survived by her daughter, Gail (David) McNeil, of Oshkosh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, numerous, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Viola Knoll, and Evelyn Buehler.Her funeral service will be Tuesday June 12, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the All Saints Lutheran Church with the Rev. Darin Wiebe officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. A memorial to the church has been established. The family wished to express a special thank you to Karen K., the staff of 2 North at Aurora Medical Center, Pastor Darin, and Terri Pickering for all of your prayers, caring, and love.
