Ruth Elaine Vogelin

Ruth E. Vogelin 83, Oshkosh died at her home on Tuesday, October 14, 2008. She was born in Oshkosh on October 29, 1924 a daughter of the late George and Mary Hughes Berrell. Ruth was united in marriage to Edward R. Vogelin on November 26, 1949. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1992.Ruth attended Bethany United Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing, playing cards sewing and crocheting.Survivors include two sons, Lynn Butch (Natalie) Resop; Thomas (Chris) Vogelin; two daughters, Joni Balgie; Ruth A. (Gary) Vogelin, all of Oshkosh; one sister, Millie Draeger, Oshkosh; eleven grandchildren, Robin, Ross, Bryan, Jessica, Brenda, Amber, Donald, Timothy, Amanda, Amy, Christopher; 14 great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Monnie Berrell, Oshkosh; and a special friend, Jean Gams, Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, James, one daughter, Mary, one grandson, James Jr.; four brothers, George, Robert, Wally and James; two sisters, Bernice Berrell and Harriett Kuklinsky.Funeral services will be held at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Eastside on Friday October 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM, Rev. Kevin Mundell officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM to the time of service. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
