Ruth Gladys Eckstein

Ruth G. Eckstein, 84, of Oshkosh, died Thursday May 4, 2006 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born July 5, 1921 in Manitowoc a daughter of James and Barbara Blechl Getchius. On June 1, 1946 she married Orville Eckstein in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1998.She worked at Mondls, she loved playing with her grandchildren, cooking, listening to music and was a loving grandma and great-grandma.She is survived by one daughter, Mary (Michael) Robinson of Neenah; two granddaughters, Shelly Robinson of Neenah, Jessica (Rob)Luce of Arizona; three great-grandchildren, Ashlei, Alethia and Brennen; brother-in-law, Jerry Conjurske of Appleton, and nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, Shirley Eckstein; two brothers, James Getchius, William Getchuis and one sister, Lucille Conjurske.Funeral services will be held on Monday May 8, 2006 at 3 p.m. at Lake View Memorial Park-Chapel. Visitation will be held at the chapel one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.The family would like to thank the staff at Park View Health Center, and a special thank you to the staff of Aurora Medical Center especially Laura for staying with Ruth until the family arrived.
