Ruth Suderman

Ruth Suderman, 87, of Oshkosh, died Thursday November 19, 2009 at Aurora Medical Center-St. Luke's in Milwaukee. She was born on May 9, 1922 in Lehigh, KS. The daughter of Daniel and Martha Scheikoski Jost. On June 6 1942, she married Monroe Suderman in Hillsboro, KS.Ruth resided many places including Kansas, Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Texas and recently moved to Oshkosh to be closer to family. She was a woman of great faith and was currently a member of Algoma Blvd United Methodist Church. She took a leadership role in every organization in which she participated in including P.E.O. She enjoyed golfing.She is survived by her husband Monroe, of Oshkosh, one son Steven(Barbara) Suderman of Champaign, IL., one daughter Marcia(Carston) Larson of Oshkosh, two brothers Kenneth(Betty) Jost of Austin, TX., Gordon(Faye) Jost of Tulsa, OK., grandchildren Allison(Brian) Carrick, of Oshkosh, Jonathan(Lisa) Larson of Chicago, Mary Robyn(Craig) Peotter of Menomonee Falls, Laurel(James) Blinka of New Berlin, Kristin Larson of Chicago, Wendy(Darin) Osmundsen of Phoenix, great-grandchildren Emmaline, Charlie, Henry, Audrey, Harry, Kate, Elizabeth, and Maggie.She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Orville.A memorial service will be held on Monday November 23, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Algoma Blvd United Methodist Church with Rev. Barry Yarbro officiating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.A memorial has been established to Algoma Blvd. United Methodist Church.
