Sadie Borchardt

Sadie Borchardt, age 92, of Neenah(Menasha), passed away peascefully on January 13, 2015.Sadie was born on January 6, 1923 in Royalton, WI. She married Levi Borchardt on August 6, 1941. They lived in Neenah, WI and Rockford, IL all their married life of 51 years. She was a very loving and pleasant lady who helped anyone in need. Sadie was a joy to be with; was devoted to her faith and family; loved playing cards, cooking, baking, stitchery and traveling.Sadie is survived by 3 children, Sandy (Ron) Blackwell, Arizona, Lee(Cheryl) Borchardt, Colorado and Patti(Chuck) Strominger, Illinois; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty(Chuck) Seidl; two brothers, Duane(Rita) Wilke and Roger(Diane) Wilke; sisters-in-law, Shirley Wilke and Jackie Borchardt; brother-in-law, Arden(Marilyn) Borchardt; and numerous nieces and nephews.Sadie was preceded in death by her husband Levi; her sisters, Virginia and Jenny; her brothers, Melvin (Laurine, Evelyn), Victor(Agnes), Harold(Dorothy), Russell Sr. and Dennis(Germaine Jess); nieces, Shirley Shaw and Julie Thiesen; a nephew, Dennis Thiesen; and grand-daughter in-law, Julie.Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran, 300 Broad St, Menasha. Visitation will be from 10am until the time of services at 11am, with Rev. Dustin Krystowiak officiating. Interment will be at Sunset FH and Memorial Gardens in Rockford, IL..
