Sally A Schissel, 71, of Oshkosh passed away on Sunday February 17, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center. Sally was born in Oshkosh on September 24, 1941, adaughter of Ralph and Evelyn (Bishop) Ziebell. She married Max "Hike" Schissel Jr on March 19, 1958 in Oshkosh. Sally was raised in Oshkosh and Philadelphia PA. Graduated from OshkoshHigh School. She was employed by Marion Manor and Mercy Medical Center where she retired as a Registered Nurse. She is survived by her three sons, Tim (Julie); Ty both of Oshkosh; Cory(Monica), Columbus; two daughters, Michele (Don) Parker, Deerfield; Lee Ann(Chad Hanson), Freedom; two brothers, Jerry (Judy), Tom (Judy), one sister, Pat (LeRoy) Schoenauer, all of Oshkosh; ten grandchildren: Benjamin, Nicholas, Erin, Chance, Joah, Payton, Skylar, Noland, Zander Schissel, Nicholas Hanson. Sally is further survived by Maxs extended family. Her husband Max, parents, brother Mike (Roberta) Ziebell and nephew Jerry Ziebell Jr. preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home - Eastside on Saturday February 23, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with Sally's son-in-law, Pastor Don Parker of His Living Word Church in Cottage Grove officiating. Family andfriends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. to the time ofservice. A memorial has been established to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.
