Sandra A. Hug

Sandra Ann Hug (nee Kraus) died in Oshkosh, September 30th,2022 at the age of 84 after illness of some duration. Born in Milwaukee August 3rd, 1938, to Frederick and Violet (Johann) Kraus. She is survived by her sister Carol Lynn Hale, nephew William Hale and grandniece Christina Molonari.

After graduating Messmer Highschool in Milwaukee. Sandy attended the University of Nevada and the University of Grenoble Alpes, France. She married Fred Hug and they moved to Oshkosh where they operated Hug Aviation at Whittman Field from 1967-1980, when they divorced. Sandy remained in Oshkosh living at her Lake Butte des Mortes home until her death. She worked in Oshkosh as a police dispatcher, then drove city bus until her retirement. Her passengers loved her.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life in June 2023. Memorials in Sandy’s name may be sent to Messmer Highschool Alumni Fund 742 W. Capitol Dr. Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
