Sandra J. Mchugh

Sandra Jean (Schuhart) McHugh, age 76, passed away Saturday, February 6th, 2021 due to complications of surgery. She was born February 23, 1944 to the late Alvin and Doris (Schram) Schuhart in Oshkosh and lived there almost her entire life. She graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1962. She married Dennis McHugh in 1967 and welcomed 3 stepsons, Kevin McHugh, Michael McHugh and Daniel McHugh. Her daughter, Elizabeth (McHugh) Roeder was born in 1968. Sandra was involved in Beta Sigma Phi for over 50 years and belonged to the Royal Red Raspberries Red Hat Society. Her interests were cooking, baking, traveling, flower arranging, sewing, spending time at the woods, meeting with friends or family and shopping. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family and long-time friends. She worked at Hessenius Eye Care, Hrnaks Flowers, Fantasia Flower Shop and Impressions Antique and Gift Store. She had belonged to Martin Luther Evangelical Church since childhood. She came from a large family, married into an even larger family, and did her best to keep in touch with all of them. Sandra’s love, kindness, thoughtfulness and quiet strength will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Sandra is survived by stepsons Kevin McHugh (Deborah), Michael McHugh (Mary Claire), Daniel McHugh; daughter Elizabeth (McHugh) Roeder (Scott); grandsons John McHugh, Anthony Eason (Brooke), Jared McHugh, Calvyn Eason, Conner McHugh, and Maxwell McHugh; great granddaughters Ariya Eason and Sophia Eason; sister Margaret (Schuhart) Schettl (Edwin); brothers Alton Schuhart (Carol), Jerald Schuhart (Mary Ellen) and James Schuhart (Elissa); and many brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis McHugh; brother, Thomas Schuhart (Mary); and daughter-in-law, Deborah (Uhrmacher) McHugh.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 11th, 2021, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Point Drive in Oshkosh, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 12th, 2021 at Martin Lutheran Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1526 Algoma Boulevard in Oshkosh, at 11:00 am following visitation from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, also at the church.
