Scott Vincent, 42, of Oshkosh, WI passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Vinny was born on November 4, 1971 in Madison, WI, to Robert Vincent of The Villages, FL and Nancy Vincent of Oshkosh, WI. Scott was loved by his friends and family for his infectious energy, fun loving spirit and spontaneous humor that he shared with everyone. Scott and his great big smile, grew up on the east side of Oshkosh where he enjoyed playing soccer, basketball and golf with his friends. He graduated from Oshkosh North High School before taking his talents to The U (University of Miami) where he graduated with a BS degree in Biology. He spent more than 10 years working with kids as a biology teacher and high school principal in Wisconsin and Michigan. Wherever he lived and worked, he made an impact and created lasting memories. During this time Scott had two children, Rafer and Fallon with his first wife Shayne Vincent. Vinny lived life with zeal and energy. He had the ability to transform any experience with friends and family into a memorable event with his smile and antics. He especially enjoyed concerts, Packer/Badger/Brewers and U games, and dressing up in costume and growing a mustache with his crew of friends. He truly knew how to have fun in life. Scott met his biggest fan in life, his wife Stacy whom he married last July and loved dearly. They loved spending time together with all three children and their dog. He entertained her and she loved him like no other in a partnership built on love. Vinny was stricken with Parkinsons disease over four years ago. In addition to the physical and mental effects of this disease, he openly struggled with bipolar disease. Even with these challenges, he retained his infectious personality and kindness and celebrated life with Stacy, their children, and his family and friends. He appreciated the people in his life and let them know it often. He was a father, a husband, a brother, a son, and a loyal friend. Scott is survived by his wife Stacy Groff-Vincent, and children Makalie Groff, Rafer and Fallon Vincent. He is also survived by his parents, Robert and Nancy Vincent, sister Angela (Doug) Stover, nephew Matthew Stover, cousins and in-laws. Special thanks to Shelly Ketelhut at Affinity Behavior Health and Dr. Stephen Shopbell.
